Plant: Select sunny location with well-drained soil and plant after all danger of frost is past. For earlier blossoms, star indoors 5-7 weeks before last frost. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist.
Care: Do not over-water and do not fertilize.
Tip: Store in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture severely reduce germination.
The long, pale yellow petals of the Italian White lead to a chocolate-brown center making a strikingly beautiful contrast. Multibranching stems of this mid-size sunflower bear multitudes of 3-4 inch blooms. Strong, sturdy stems enable a longer blooming season than that of the typical sunflower. Cut flowers just before they open for a beautiful, long lasting bouquet.
